HISTORY OF MCC Websites
In September 2021, the website on Squarespace 5 was imported to Squarespace 7, with layout changes as required by the new platform. With Council approval, the new site went live on Sept 27, 2021 with the MidcoastCommunityCouncil.org domain. The Squarespace 5 site can still be accessed at mccsite.squarespace.com, though it is no longer updated.
Noted in the June 11, 2012 MCC Website Policy (see above), there were 3 earlier versions of the website, The first 3 were active as mcc.sanmateo.org. Those are no longer on line, but most of the content of those sites are still available via the Internet Archive. The 4th was a Squarespace 5 site that became active in late May or early June 2012. This site is still online as of February, 2022 (last changed in September 2021). It is planned to be deactivated by June 2022.
This is the first website, in use up to 2006, as it appeared in December 2006. The earliest version on the Internet Archive was the Aug 23, 2000 version.
In 2009, the website was redone, and that style was in use through 2010. This is how it appeared in February 2009.
In July 2011, the website was modified to another new style, and that was used through May of 2012. By June of 2012, the website had moved to the new midcoastcommunitycouncil.org name on Squarespace 5.
